Beginning
at the western boundary a coastal influence cools the air with
evening and morning fog most often clearing into beautiful days.
As one travels east through the Preserve, the air warms and
the sun shines on the inland valleys to be cooled in the evening
by a coastal breeze. The Preserve receives 27 inches of average
annual rainfall anytime between early November to late April,
although most of the days feel like springtime. Summer months
offer warmer temperatures inland, ranging between 70-85 degrees
on average. This time of year is cooler near the western boundaries. |
