Membership at the Santa Lucia Preserve
Joining the Clubs
A short drive south of San Francisco’s Financial District, where the only traffic jam is turkeys crossing the road, is a place where interest of another kind compounds. The round of your life is beckoning from The Preserve’s Golf Club and the clarion call of a golden eagle overhead is matched only by the whinnying of horses at The Ranch Club’s Equestrian Center, eager to be saddled and ridden into The Preserve’s vast wilderness. This is where passion is born from play and precious memories are made.
The Preserve’s recreational amenities, activities and experiences are available through club membership. Membership is subject to approval by application and is not included with the purchase of real estate. There are several levels of membership to suit the individual needs and desires of each family.

The Preserve Golf Club
Here is a championship Tom Fazio course that has long enjoyed a Top 100 ranking. What sets golf at The Preserve apart is the intimacy of both the setting and its private, and very social membership. Of particular note is the abundant sunshine – rounds here are almost always bathed in the warm sun, while only minutes away the Monterey Peninsula courses may be shrouded in fog.

The Ranch Club
A refuge for horses and humans alike. A place where kids can roam and play, while family and friends recharge their batteries at a variety of Ranch Club facilities. The essence of The Ranch Club goes beyond equestrian programs, embracing the full range of Preserve amenities – social, sporting and dining – along with all that its 20,000 acres offer.

National Golf Membership
For those who do not reside within the surrounding counties (Monterey, Santa Cruz, San Benito and Santa Clara) the National Golf Membership offers an exceptional golf experience.
